Until the 76th minute of facing Manchester City and Aston Villa in the last round of the Premier League, the "blue team" was two goals behind without a response, and thus was the loser of the title before turning the table a historic Premontada.

The credit for this return is due to coach Pep Guardiola's vision and his changes that paid off. The Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko took the place of the Brazilian Fernandinho and the German Ilkay Gundogan in the place of the Portuguese Bernardo Silva. The German scored two goals and the Ukrainian made a goal.

Guardiola said - in the press conference after the match - sarcastically that "I called Real Madrid and they gave me good advice!"

"There is no explanation in Madrid, there is no explanation today. It is the momentum. Sometimes it is good to live in such situations. I had a feeling that this would help us be stronger next season."

The Spanish coach continued, "We are legends... When you win the league title 4 times in 5 seasons, it is because we have an exceptional team of players. They will remember us."

It is noteworthy that the "Citizens" finished the season with 93 points to retain the league title, followed by Liverpool in second place with 92 points, after a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton.
