The two girls thought they were preparing for another media interview when asked about their favorite players.

"Roger Federer. If I met him I would jump on him or I would be shocked," said Vitoria, 13.

While Carola, 11, expressed her desire to "own Federer elegance - while he was playing - and the strength of (Rafael) Nadal."

The girls were shocked and unable to speak, and their eyes widened when Federer stepped out of a curtain.

The winner of 20 major championships played with the two girls on the roofs of the two homes before inviting them to lunch.

Two girls, aged 13 and 11, played a rooftop tennis match during lockdown. The video went viral.

Roger Federer surprised them with a visit. Their reaction when they realise he's on their rooftop is priceless.

"I almost lost consciousness when he appeared. He discovered distances very quickly and started playing ball between his legs from one of the two surfaces to the other which is amazing. I didn't think it was real," Vitoria was quoted by The Times as saying.

Federer informed the two girls that he had arranged for them to enter a summer camp at the Rafael Nadal Academy.

"For me personally, it was a very special moment in my career as a tennis player to surprise a fan like I did today with Carola and Victoria," the Swiss player added.

"I played in many dazzling places around the world, but this time definitely is a special experience. We have shown that we can play anywhere and enjoy it."
