The "Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Sports Creativity", one of the "Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives", was set for the 31st of this month to vote on the junior category for the 11th session, through the Dubai Sports Channel, the website and the smart application of the award mbrawards.

The award continues to honor creative Emirati youth with outstanding achievements, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai and patron of the award, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the National Olympic Committee and President of the Award .

A press statement issued by the award’s board of trustees said: “The award’s board of trustees, headed by Mattar Al Tayer, chose six young athletes with great global achievements, who were chosen by the jury to reach the final stage, and are subject to the public’s vote according to their global achievements, as the results of the public vote will be calculated. And the jury’s decision is divided equally, so that the winners will be honored during the closing ceremony, which will take place on the ninth of next January, according to the final arrangement of the results of arbitration and voting.

The list of nominees included: Muhammad Saeed bin Ham Al-Amri, for winning first place three times in the International Championships for Endurance and Endurance - Slovakia 2019, and ranking fourth in the world rankings for the senior riders category. Saif Jassim Al-Mansoori, who won a gold medal at the World Championships for U-16 Juniors in Romania in 2019, and a silver medal in the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship for juniors category 2019. And Al-Yazia Tariq Abdulsalam, for winning a silver medal at the International Gymnastics Championships held in Hungary. Rahma Khalfan Al-Murshidi, for winning a silver medal in the Asian Junior and Junior Boxing Championships, which was held in the UAE. and Salwa Ahmed Al-Mansoori, for winning a bronze medal in the Asian Karate Championships for juniors, youth and under 21 years old in Malaysia.And Yousef Rashid Al Matrooshi, who won four gold medals in the Gulf Swimming Championships held in Kuwait and Qatar, in addition to his participation in the Olympic Games - Tokyo 2020, achieved a historic achievement, after becoming the first Emirati to break the 50-second barrier in the 100 swimming race.
