  As the hub of China's commercial vehicle-sea-rail combined transportation, Dalian Port has the only coastal professional ro-ro wharf in China where the railway directly enters the port. The diversified collection and distribution system is developed, which can meet all existing ship types of ro-ro ships to berth around the clock.

In November 2020, Dalian Automobile Terminal opened the first export liner route of commercial vehicles, realizing a new breakthrough in the business of Liaoning Port's ro-ro commodity vehicles.

  Jin Zhaoxing, assistant to the general manager of Dalian Automobile Terminal Company, introduced that the above-mentioned S90 commercial vehicles are manufactured by Volvo's Daqing plant and arrive at Dalian Automobile Terminal by land transportation.

Compared with the past, the commercial vehicle entered Europe through rail transportation. This time, with the help of sea transportation, Volvo commercial vehicles are transported to Dalian Port by land or rail, and then shipped out to sea. From the factory to the delivery, it is expected to be completed in about 30 days. Reduced costs.

  In recent years, Liaoning Port Group has continued to make efforts in the field of commodity vehicle roll-on-roll logistics business, providing sea-rail combined transport services for 17 automobile brands including Volvo and BMW.

The establishment of the Volvo brand vehicle export base has become another new brand and new source of goods for foreign trade exports of Liaoning Port Group after the BMW iX3 model.
