Violations of 157 commercial, industrial and residential facilities in Dibba Al-Fujairah

The Director General of Dibba Al-Fujairah Municipality, Eng. Hassan Salem Al-Yamahi, stated that 157 commercial, industrial and residential facilities were violated, and the violations consisted of not placing a protection fence, and identification or warning signs at the work area. The violations also included maintenance work without a license, and work outside the boundaries of the land. Throwing waste and rubble outside the site, failing to follow the security and safety requirements at construction sites, and not following up on work and supervision by a consulting office.

He pointed out that the Engineering and Planning Affairs Department issued 535 building licenses from the beginning of January until the end of last August, including 327 residential building licenses, 118 industrial and services building licenses, 43 agricultural land building licenses, 47 residential commercial and commercial building licenses, and the approval of 511 completion certificates. Al-Yamahi added that the administration implements periodic and sudden inspection campaigns and visits, to raise awareness of the importance of applying the requirements of safe construction, to ensure the application of all security and safety conditions, in accordance with standards, operational plans, and approved licenses, and to monitor any violations. The tours resulted in the issuance of 157 violations.He stressed the need for both contractors and consultants to cooperate with the municipality, and to ensure the extent to which security and safety requirements are adhered to in construction sites, through follow-up and supervision of the workflow, to achieve the occupational safety of workers at project sites, which contributes to the continuous development of systems and requirements, in a manner that meets the needs of individual investors. and companies, and facilitating the procedures for obtaining the required services at a level that satisfies the aspirations of all.
