The video of an altercation in a Carrefour supermarket in Annemasse in Haute-Savoie, broadcast on Twitter on Friday, sparked a wave of indignation from Internet users.
A customer of the store violently attacked a cashier, insulting her "dirty negress".
In the images, we can see a young woman, accompanied by two children, coming out of the store, obviously very upset.
She then attacks a cashier, for reasons which remain to be determined, throwing racist insults at her.

Rami Baitièh, the boss of Carrefour France, also reacted on social networks.
“I just called Mamé our colleague to show him my support and that of @GroupeCarrefour.
I will never tolerate such comments being made in our stores, ”he said on Twitter.
