US Senators wrote a letter to the port of Germany because of the "Nord Stream - 2"

The letter was written by Senators Ted Cruise, Tom Cotton and Ron Johnson.

“If you continue to provide goods, services and support the Nord Stream 2 project, you will ruin the future financial condition of your enterprise,” a fragment of the document is quoted in the publication.

Earlier, as RT wrote, Ted Cruz called on US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to "unequivocally confirm" the intention of the US administration to impose "any necessary sanctions" in order to prevent the completion of Nord Stream 2. 

As noted in the European Union, the EU opposes US sanctions, including with respect to the Nord Stream 2 and Turkish Stream projects.
