Berlin (dpa / bb) - Cars have again been destroyed by arson in Berlin.

In the night of Thursday, three cars burned in Neukölln, as the police further announced.

A witness had previously observed a stranger tampering with the cars and alerted the police and fire brigade.

The 16 firefighters were able to put out the flames, but could not prevent the car from burning out.

A fourth car was also damaged in the fire.

Nobody got hurt.

The stranger is said to have fled on foot over the Weigandufer in the direction of Kreuzberg.

In Berlin it is not uncommon for vehicles to be damaged or destroyed by fires - often arson - often for political reasons as well.
