" I shouldn't have been so cavalier, I don't take black voting for granted at all, " said Joe Biden to apologize. A few hours earlier, the Democratic candidate for the White House had made one of those blunders of which he has the secret during a popular radio program hosted by an African-American: " If you hesitate to vote between Donald Trump and me, so you're not black, ”he said.
The republican camp immediately reacted. Donald Trump Jr, the president's son, spoke of the racist and disgusting mentality of the Democratic candidate. And the only Republican black senator, Tim Scott, went to express his outrage on Fox News. “ One million three hundred thousand African Americans voted for Trump . He says that one million three hundred thousand African-Americans are not black? But who does he think he is? This is the most arrogant, the most outrageous comment I have heard in a very long time, ”he said.
A White House adviser also stepped up to denounce the words of the Democratic candidate. Asked about Donald Trump's racist remarks, she accused the media of taking them out of context.
