The forestry authorities announced that the main fire of the forest fire in Uljin-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do had been extinguished as of 11:40 am today (29th).
The forest authorities previously issued a '3rd stage of forest fire' response order and mobilized 1,500 manpower and 1,100 equipment.
So far, the area affected by the forest fire has been counted as 145 ha.
There were no casualties, but nine facilities, including Bogwangsa Daeungjeon in Eupnam-ri, suffered fire damage.
Forest authorities are cleaning up the remaining fires as long as residual fires can spread around even after the main fire is extinguished.
