On April 10, local time, a poll released by the United States showed that U.S. President Joe Biden’s approval rating dropped to 42% in early April, the lowest level since his election.
According to a joint survey of 2,062 American adults conducted by CBS and the Public Opinion Survey Network from April 5 to 8, local time, as many as 69% of the respondents expressed disapproval of Biden's handling of inflation. 63% of respondents disapprove of Biden's handling of overall economic issues.
In addition, 66% of respondents said the current economic environment has put their lives in a bind, while having to cut some of their living expenses.
And only 8% felt they were immune to rising prices.
