I am now in Bomokpo-gu, Seogwipo-si.

The typhoon is now the closest to Jeju, and now it is raining and windy so hard that I can hardly see the future.

As the high tide approaches here, the day is getting brighter behind me and I can see the waves little by little, and the strong waves are constantly hitting the breakwater.

And as time goes on, damage is also being received one after another. At around 0:30 this morning, a fire broke out in a performance hall in Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, and it was extinguished in about 1 hour and 20 minutes as it suffered considerable difficulties in extinguishing due to strong winds.

It is understood that no one was injured, but there was a commotion that the staff at the dormitory were evacuated.

In addition, roads were flooded in Seogwipo City and street lamps were knocked down by rain and wind in Jeju City, so emergency safety measures were taken.

In addition, more than 50 cases of damage have been reported since the 13th, including 18,000 square meters of flooding in the Woldongmu planting site in Seogwipo City.

In addition, there is concern that additional damage may occur as the typhoon is closest to Jeju.

Due to the influence of the typhoon, the accumulated precipitation of 1,146 mm is recorded in the azalea fields of Mt. Halla.

The sea road connecting Jeju is tightly closed, and more than 2,000 fishing boats are evacuated in Hangpo-gu.

Flights were also disrupted, such as flight 15 canceled yesterday, but the impact is expected to continue until today.

Jeju Island has raised the emergency duty to Level 2 and has entered a 24-hour readiness posture, and today all kindergartens and schools in Jeju are conducting remote classes.
