It is expected that from 08:00 on October 26th to 20:00 on October 27th, affected by moderate-intensity cold air, the temperature in parts of eastern Inner Mongolia, most of North China, and Northeast China will drop by 4 to 6°C, accompanied by 4 to 5 Class wind, gust 6 to 7.

There was a heavy rain on Hainan Island yesterday

  Yesterday, affected by the typhoon "Shader", heavy rain occurred in the northeastern part of Hainan Island. The maximum rainfall in Wenchang, Hainan was 104 mm; Hainan Island, the coastal areas of central and southern Fujian, the coastal areas of Guangdong, and the coastal areas of southwestern Guangxi experienced 6 to 8 gusts. Ground gusts are 9-10 levels.

Typhoon "Molafi" will move into the South China Sea

  This year’s No. 18 typhoon "Molafi" has strengthened from a severe tropical storm to a typhoon level yesterday (25th) night. Its center is located on the central islands of the Philippines at 5 o'clock this morning, which is 13.2 degrees north latitude and 121.2 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is 12 levels (35 m/s), the minimum air pressure at the center is 970 hPa, the radius of the seventh wind circle is 220-250 kilometers, the radius of the tenth wind circle is 60 kilometers, and the radius of the twelfth wind circle is 40 kilometers.

  It is expected that "Molafi" will move westward at a speed of about 25 kilometers per hour, and will move to the eastern sea surface of the South China Sea around noon today. It will gradually move towards the central coast of Vietnam, and its intensity will gradually increase, with the strongest reaching typhoon level or strong. Typhoon level (38~45 m/s, 13~14 level).

  Affected by the "Molafi" and the cold air, from 08:00 on the 26th to 08:00 on the 27th, there were 7-8 areas near the Bashi Strait, the eastern part of the South China Sea and Huangyan Island, the Zhongsha Islands, the eastern part of the Paracel Islands, and the northern part of the Nansha Islands. In the southeastern part of the South China Sea, the wind can reach 9 to 11, and the nearby seas passing by the center of "Molafi" have winds of 12 to 14 and gusts of 15 to 16.

The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue typhoon forecasts at 06:00 on October 26.

Medium-intensity cold air affects Northeast China

  It is expected that from 08:00 on October 26th to 20:00 on October 27th, affected by moderate-intensity cold air, the temperature in parts of eastern Inner Mongolia, most of North China, and Northeast China will drop by 4 to 6°C, accompanied by 4 to 5 Class wind, gust 6 to 7.

Specific forecast for the next three days

  From 08:00 on October 26 to 08:00 on the 27th, there was light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, northwestern Heilongjiang, and central and eastern parts of Northwest China, and heavy snow (5-7 mm) was localized.

There was light to moderate rain in parts of southeast Heilongjiang, east Jilin, east southwest, southeast Tibet, and Hainan Island. Among them, there was heavy rain (25-40 mm) in southern Hainan Island.

There are 4 to 6 winds in parts of central and eastern Inner Mongolia, central and northern North China, Liaodong Peninsula, and Hainan Island.

  From 08:00 on October 27th to 08:00 on the 28th, there were light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, northwest Heilongjiang, northeast and central parts of Northwest China, and northeastern Tibet, with heavy snow on the ground ( 5-8mm).

There were light to moderate rains in parts of northeastern Heilongjiang, eastern Northwest China, southwestern North China, western Jianghan, most of Southwest China, eastern Tibet, and Hainan Island.

There are 4 to 6 winds in parts of central and eastern Inner Mongolia, the western and southern parts of Northeast China, Shandong Peninsula, western Huanghuai, Hainan Island and other places (see Figure 2).

  From 08:00 on October 28 to 08:00 on the 29th, there was light snow or sleet in parts of northern Heilongjiang, northern Xinjiang and western southern Xinjiang, southeastern Qinghai, northern Sichuan plateau, and northeastern Tibet.

There was light to moderate rain in parts of western North China, western Huanghuai, southeastern Northwest China, Jianghan, Jianghuai, northeastern Jiangnan, most of Southwest China, south central and southern China, Hainan Island and other places. Among them, the central and eastern parts of Hainan Island, etc. There is heavy rain (50 ~ 70 mm) locally.

There are 4 to 5 winds in parts of eastern Inner Mongolia, Liaodong Peninsula, Shandong Peninsula, eastern Jianghan, northern Jiangnan, Hainan Island and other places (see Figure 3).

There will be strong winds of magnitude 7-9 and gusts of magnitude 10 to 11 in the western waters of the South China Sea, Beibu Gulf, and Qiongzhou Strait. Among them, the center of typhoon "Molafi" can pass through the nearby waters with winds of magnitude 10 to 13, and gusts of 14 to 15.
