  Local media KCRA quoted police as saying that the second suspect was identified as 27-year-old Smiley Martin, who was arrested on the 5th on charges of "possessing a firearm by a prohibited person".

The suspect was seriously injured in the shooting and is being treated at a nearby hospital.

  An anonymous law enforcement official told The Associated Press that hours before the shooting, the suspect posted a video of him brandishing a pistol on social media.

Authorities are trying to determine whether the weapon in the video was used in the shooting.

According to Tricia, a spokeswoman for the UC Davis Health System, as of the 4th, at least seven of the injured had been discharged from the hospital.

On the 5th, two people were still hospitalized at the UC Davis Medical Center, and Tricia did not disclose the condition of the injured.
