During the trial, the public prosecutor was moved by a "beating in due form". This Thursday, two police officers were each sentenced to four years in prison, two of which were suspended, for having violently assaulted a teenager for no reason in the northern districts of Marseille, one evening in February 2018, learned 20 Minutes from the young man's lawyer.
The authors had in particular been able to be confused thanks to a pen from the police union Alliance, in a damning investigation by the IGPN. During the trial, on March 13, the public prosecutor requested four years in prison, one of which was suspended. The police denied the facts as a whole.
