No socio-economic analysis is performed at Mälar Hospital's mammography clinic - but it is clear that proximity to the clinic is a factor.

Buses were removed

In the past, there were mobile units, so-called mammography buses, which visited the municipalities with longer distances to the nearest radiological reception.

They have been removed, and no reintroduction is planned.

- They were removed because the working environment was not good, but we did not see any decline in participation after that.
