For the second day in a row, the remains of a marine animal were found on Monday afternoon on a beach in the bay of Douarnenez (Finistère).
A walker thus discovered in Plonévez-Porzay (Finistère) the decomposing corpse of an individual belonging to a species which remains to be determined.
The body measures approximately 1m80 and it lacks the tail.

The Pelagis network solicited
A witness said that the remains of the animal were not present on Saturday.
Specialists from the Pelagis network will be tasked with identifying the species and evacuating the corpse.

The day before, a small dead dolphin had been found on another beach in the town.
