According to him, recent US moves are exacerbating tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean.
He noted that Pompeo did not meet with representatives of the Turkish community of the island during his visit to Cyprus.
Earlier, the United States and the Republic of Cyprus signed a memorandum of understanding to continue cooperation in the field of defense.
