Yesterday (30th) around 11pm, a 94p-class tugboat, which was moving 6.5km west of Bieung Port, Gunsan-si, Jeollabuk-do, caught fire and was extinguished in about an hour.
Part of the engine room was burnt in the fire, but all four crew members were rescued by the Coast Guard, who responded to the report.
The ship that caught fire was moving from Gunsan Port to Gusipo Port in Gochang with a barge carrying dredged soil.
The Coast Guard and others are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
