During the weekend, storm Malik is expected to pull in over western Sweden.

According to the forecast, it can be up to 30 meters per second in the villages.

Already on Saturday morning, it was noticed in the train traffic.

-We close a number of tracks at 11.30, but even earlier than that there are some departures that are canceled because the trains catch up but do not get down again when the track closes, says Västtrafik's disruption coordinator Sofia Svärd.

So far, it is the train traffic on the Kinnekulla line, Borås - Herrljunga - Uddevalla and Stenungsund - Strömstad that has been canceled.

-We bus replace all departures we can, and you can stay updated on Västtrafik's website for details.

The shutdown is planned until the night between Sunday and Monday.
