Tottori Prefecture has announced that it has been confirmed that a man in the construction industry, who was visiting from outside the prefecture for work, is newly infected with the new coronavirus.

According to Tottori Prefecture, this man is the first confirmed male contact in a cluster of infected people in the dormitory of construction workers in Yonago City.

This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Tottori Prefecture to 35.
