  Superhero movies are the big winners in North American box office revenue in 2021. Four of the top five movies in North America’s annual box office revenue are superhero movies.

Comsco's box office analyst Paul Degarabedian told Xinhua News Agency reporters on the 1st that for the North American film industry, which is struggling to survive the epidemic, 2021 will still be a difficult year of ups and downs.

  Comsco estimates that total global movie box office revenue in 2021 will be approximately 21 billion U.S. dollars.

According to data released by the National Film Administration of China on the 1st, the total box office of Chinese movies reached 47.258 billion yuan in 2021, and the total box office for the whole year continued to rank first in the world.
