Tokyo 2021 Olympics: Teddy Riner in search of a third Olympic gold medal

There is no better place to be legendary.

Friday at Nippon Budokan, the temple of Japanese judo, Teddy Riner will try to win a third consecutive Olympic title, an extremely rare feat achieved so far by the only Tadahiro Nomura, crowned among the lightweight in 1996, 2000 and 2004. A quest thwarted by a worrying knee injury that hampered his preparation.

But according to the latest news, its current form makes some more optimistic.

Bronze in Beijing in 2008, two Olympic titles, in 2012 in London and in 2016 in Rio, find, in images, the Olympian exploits of the colossus of 2.03 m and 140 kg of muscles.
