Double Olympic champion, beaten in the quarter-finals by Russian Tamerlan Bashaev, Teddy Riner went for a bronze medal at the Tokyo Games on Friday, July 30.

After beating Brazilian Rafael Silva in the draft bout, the French heavyweight (over 100 kilos) dominated Japan's Hisayoshi Harasawa in the bronze medal fight.

Here he is with four Olympic medals: two in gold (2012 in London and 2016 in Rio de Janeiro) and two in bronze (2008 in Beijing and therefore 2021 in Tokyo).
