Tokushima Prefecture announced that 34 new men and women under the age of 10 to 80s have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the number of confirmed infections to 1068 in Tokushima Prefecture.
Tokushima Prefecture also announced that two elderly people in their 80s and older who had been hospitalized at a medical institution in the prefecture died on the 22nd.
This brings the number of people who died of the new coronavirus infection in Tokushima Prefecture to 31.
