According to the prefecture, 11 men and women in their 20s to 60s living in the prefecture were newly confirmed to be infected with the mutant virus.

Two men in their thirties and forties were in contact with a man in their fifties who had already been confirmed to be infected with the mutant virus.



This brings the total number of people confirmed to be infected with the mutant virus in the prefecture to 93.
