Tochigi Prefecture and Utsunomiya City announced on the 5th that a total of 856 people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
In addition, the prefecture has corrected that the outbreak report was withdrawn for each of the infected persons announced on the 31st of last month and the 4th of this month.
With this, the total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 28,751.
On the other hand, Tochigi Prefecture announced that two new patients have died, bringing the total number of deaths in the prefecture to 133.
