The Ministry of Finance called on dealers with the second generation of the e-dirham card to quickly replace it with the new (third) generation, in order to be able to complete their official transactions in 14 government agencies, stressing that dealing with old cards will be stopped as of today, Thursday, September 24.

The ministry stated, in an official disclosure, that “dealers should quickly communicate with one of the banks that provide the new generation cards of e-dirham, which are: First Abu Dhabi Bank, Ras Al Khaimah National Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Commercial Bank of Dubai or National Bank of Fujairah, and that. The ministry added that customers who hold old cards can communicate with First Abu Dhabi Bank to recover the available balance, noting that new government agencies and national banks will join the system soon.
