Haute-Vienne, Charente, Charente-Maritime, Gironde, Dordogne, Lot-et-Garonne, Landes, Gers, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, Loire and Haute-Loire are concerned by this stormy episode.

Severe thunderstorms accompanied by hail

Thunderstorms may be accompanied by hail, warns Météo France.

Wind gusts of 80 to 100 km / h are expected in its departments.

Locally, the gusts could reach 120 km / h.

"The clear deterioration sets in at the end of the afternoon: a more organized rain-storm system approaches the coastal departments. It generates strong thunderstorms which will progress rapidly towards the east of Aquitaine, Charente, Gers. , the Hautes-Pyrénées ", explains Météo France in a press release.
