Three people were indicted on Friday for "terrorist financing" and placed under judicial control by a Parisian anti-terrorism investigating judge, a judicial source said on Saturday.

According to a source familiar with the matter, these people are suspected of having provided logistical and/or financial support to a French jihadist present in the Syrian-Iraqi zone.

As part of a preliminary investigation opened in March, these three people were arrested Tuesday morning in Reims, by police officers from the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI) and the Raid.

Three other people, also arrested, have since been released without charge at this stage.

The daily

L'Union

had indicated that the arrests had been carried out in the "Red Cross" district.
