Schwerin (dpa / mv) - Today the schoolchildren in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania start their everyday school life again after the Easter holidays.

According to the Ministry of Education, classes should take place on Thursday and Friday as on the days before the Easter holidays.

Classes one to six as well as the final classes are given face-to-face tuition, from year seven alternate tuition.

Due to the high number of corona infections, students in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district must be prepared for further restrictions at least this Thursday and Friday.

Then attending schools should be prohibited in principle.

Distance learning is given for all grades in all types of schools - with the exception of the final years - according to the district.

How things will continue there in the coming week should therefore be decided on Friday.
