Brazilian defender Thiago Silva, striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Spanish goalkeeper Sergio Rico extended their contract with PSG on Monday until the end of the season, interrupted by coronavirus, said the Parisian club.

The three players will thus be able to participate in the finals of the Coupe de France - against Saint-Etienne on July 24 - and the Coupe de la Ligue - against Lyon on July 31 -, as well as in the final tournament of the 'UEFA Champions League' from 12 to 23 August in Lisbon, said PSG.

In mid-June, the club's sporting director, Leonardo, had acted for the departure of the club at the end of the season from Thiago Silva, at the club since 2012, but also from Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani.

The latter is not mentioned in the PSG press release on Monday, nor is the Belgian defender Thomas Meunier, who has signed with Borussia Dortmund for next season. Dortmund said Sunday he was ready to let Meunier play again in C1 with Paris.
