Today (24th) morning, Nanjing City held a press conference to inform the latest situation of epidemic prevention and control.
Yang Dasuo, deputy director of the Nanjing Municipal Health Commission, notified that between 0 and 24:00 on July 23, 2021, 12 newly diagnosed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in Nanjing, of which 3 were mild, 9 were general, and newly added asymptomatic infections 4 cases.
Among the 16 cases of infection, 15 were in Jiangning and 1 in Lishui, both of which were airport staff and their close contacts.
Up to now, there are 35 local confirmed cases in Nanjing, 14 of which are mild and 21 are general. There are 18 local asymptomatic infections.
According to the requirements of the country and Jiangsu Province on precise prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, and after the evaluation of the epidemic prevention and control expert group, starting from July 24, 2021, three new medium-risk areas will be added in Jiangning District, Nanjing City, in Lukou Street and Lake Cooked streets.
