The 17-year-old paddle player Álex Gama died this weekend due to an illness that was detected at the end of last summer. Shortly before becoming ill, last year, Gama had proclaimed himself, along with his brother Juan Carlos, champions of Spain for minors and had thus classified for the World Cup of the category they already won in 2017.
