The weather on Friday: increasingly dry with sunny spells, sunny in the southern third

This Friday, the clouds will still dominate from the South-West to the Massif Central, with a few drops on the foothills.

The sky will also be cloudy from Rhône-Alpes to the Grand Est but the rains will move away via the northern Alps, the Jura and Alsace, according to Météo France forecasts.

On the rest of the country, the day will start under a variable sky with rare showers on the coasts of the Atlantic and the Channel, some mists or fogs in the lands north of the Loire to Hauts-de-France.

The sun will return to southern Aquitaine

In the afternoon, except for some stubborn grayness at the foot of the Pyrenees, the sun will return to the south of Aquitaine, in Occitania as far as the PACA region and Corsica.

On the rest of France, the clearings will have to deal with cloudy periods.

These could lead to small showers here and there on the coasts of the English Channel and from the north of the Seine to the Grand Est.

Tramontane and mistral will blow moderately in their areas.

In the morning, it will be between 7 and 11 degrees from the north of New Aquitaine and Brittany to the Belgian border, 9 to 14 in general on the southeastern half, up to 16 to 21 near the Mediterranean.

The maximum temperatures will still be summer in the southeast with 26 to 31 degrees, locally 33 to 35 in the Var.

Elsewhere, they will reach 21 to 25 degrees, locally 18/20 near the English Channel.
