The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the United States Department of the Treasury has decided not to renew the general license allowing Russia to make external debt service payments.
This is reported by TASS with reference to the message of the US Treasury.
It is noted that the current license expires on May 25 at 07:01 Moscow time.
Earlier, US Treasury Secretary Jennette Yellen said that Washington is unlikely to extend the general license for Russia.
