In its 2021 edition, the Guinness World Records crowned the two most followed personalities in the world on TikTok.

They are the illusionist Zach King and Charli d'Amelio.

The young woman is both the "most followed female personality" on the social network and "the first person to reach 50 million subscribers", reports BFMTV.

Paradoxically, these two celebrities are American, even though the United States wants to ban the Chinese application from the country.

TikTok totally banned from November 12

TikTok is indeed suspected of espionage.

The Trump administration is confident that the app is collecting intelligence on Beijing's behalf.

This Sunday, an American judge suspended in extremis a decree ordering the blocking of the application in the name of national security.

The total ban on the application is still scheduled for November 12.

This would be a huge blow for TikTok, which has 100 million users in the United States, out of 800 million in total.

Faced with this risk, Charli d'Amelio took the lead by registering on Thriller, an American competitor of TikTok, but also by ensuring its popularity on Instagram, which launched a concept of videos similar to TikTok.
