Temperature "diving" like changing seasons?

Today (March 30), the cold air affecting my country continues to expand. It is expected that the impact of the cold air will continue until the Qingming holiday. The cooling will reach Hainan and Yunnan. Many southern China will experience the feeling of returning from summer to spring.

While the cold air creates cooling, it will also bring continuous rainy weather to the south.

Which cities were hit by the "rain spell" in late March?

When will it warm up in the future?

Will there be "rains" during the Qingming Festival this year?

China Weather Network meteorological analysts answer your questions.

Cooling down until the temperature in Hainan "dives" like a change of seasons

Beginning on March 29th, cold air groups came. "It is not just a cold air, but constantly replenished by new cold air." Zhang Juan, a meteorological analyst at China Weather Network, analyzed that the overall force of cold air is relatively strong, A wide range of influences.

The cold air has a wide range of influence, not only affecting the north, but also bringing significant cooling to Guangdong, Hainan, Yunnan and other places.

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that from March 30 to April 2, under the influence of cold air, most of the central and eastern regions will drop by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius from north to south, and some areas will reach above 8 degrees Celsius.

Zhang Juan analyzed that from today to April 2, the temperature in the northern region mostly fluctuated around the normal level, the highest temperature in the northeast region was around 10 °C, and the north China and Huanghuai areas fluctuated around 15 °C.

In the next two days, Jianghuai and Jiangnan will experience significant cooling, with a drop of around 6°C, and a drop of more than 10°C in some areas.

For example, the temperature in Hangzhou reached about 25°C as of 15:00 today, and it will drop to 13°C tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. The highest temperature in Nanchang, Changsha, Guiyang, Chengdu, and Kunming the day after tomorrow will also be less than 15°C.

On April 2, the cooling core area moved south to southern China, and the local drop was also around 6 to 8 °C, and the cumulative cooling range in some areas will exceed 10 °C.

Among them, Guangzhou has dropped from 29°C on March 31 to 16°C on April 2, and it will feel like returning from summer to spring.

The highest temperature around April 2 in Fuzhou, Nanning, and Haikou was only about 15°C, and the coolness appeared.

Cold air frequently strikes, has it slowed down the pace of spring?

Zhang Juan said that the cold air has been frequent recently, and the process of entering spring has stagnated. However, in early and mid-March, many places in the central and eastern regions were abnormally warm, and the process of entering spring was relatively fast, so the current range of spring is not smaller than the same period of the year.

It is expected that after the impact of this cooling has passed, the cold air force will weaken, and the central and eastern regions will gradually warm up, especially in the northern region, and there will be large areas of temperature from April 3 to 5. New highs.

By then, the North China area is expected to enter the spring.

There is no more rain in the south during the Qingming holiday

Since late March, the rain has frequently clocked in in the south. The big data from China Weather Network shows that among the provincial capital cities, Guangzhou has "full attendance" of rain. From the 21st to the 29th, rainfall occurred every day, followed by Nanning, Hangzhou, Changsha, and Fuzhou in March. The number of rainy days in the latter half of the year also reached 7 days.

It is precisely because of the frequent overcast and rainy areas in Guangdong that this year's pre-flood season in South China started early.

In response to why it has been rainy in the south recently, Zhang Juan said that on the one hand, the cold air is frequent, and on the other hand, the warm and humid air flow is continuously increasing.

This frequent rainy situation will continue until the beginning of April. It is expected that from today to April 2, there will be light to moderate rain in Jianghuai, Jianghan, Jiangnan, South China, and the eastern part of Southwest China. There are heavy rains, local heavy rains, and strong convective weather in the area.

However, during the Qingming holiday, the pattern of frequent rainfall in the south will usher in a turning point. Except for the rain and snow still in some parts of the southwest, most of the other areas in the south will leave the field and usher in an intermittent period of rainfall.

The "rainy season during the Qingming Festival" in the poet's mouth will not appear. Zhang Juan explained, "This is just a coincidence." It happened that during the Qingming holiday period, the weather system activities were intermittent, so there was no rain during the Qingming holiday.

Zhang Juan reminded that the recent continuous rainy and little sunshine weather in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and most of its southern regions will have a certain adverse impact on the growth of winter wheat jointing booties, rape blossoms, open-field vegetables and economic forest fruits. It will also affect early rice sowing and seedling raising.

From April 2nd to 5th, the temperature in most of the spring planting areas in the country has risen, and the moisture content in most of the country will be suitable. The meteorological conditions will be conducive to the sowing and raising of rice seedlings, transplanting, and the sowing and emergence of dryland crops such as spring wheat and spring corn, and the growth of seedlings of sown crops.
