Among them, 8 typical cases in the field of pharmaceuticals involve the production, operation, and use of pharmaceuticals, and include various issues such as pharmaceutical production quality, illegal operation, false propaganda, and drug safety in medical institutions.
In February of this year, the Eighth Procuratorate of the Supreme People's Procuratorate listed and supervised the clues of a group of "Xiao" brand antibacterial (antibacterial) preparations illegally adding drugs to public interest litigation cases.
The Ziyun County Procuratorate of Guizhou Province and the Jiangshan City Procuratorate of Zhejiang Province urged the health and health departments to investigate and punish the manufacturers and sellers of illegally added products, and to promote special supervision work, which is also reflected in the typical cases released this time.

According to statistics, in 2021, procuratorial organs across the country will file and handle 30,000 food and drug safety public interest litigation cases, a year-on-year increase of 10%.
Among them, more than 26,000 public interest litigation cases in the field of food safety were handled, and 480,000 kilograms of counterfeit and shoddy food were supervised and dealt with; more than 3,000 public interest litigation cases in the field of drug safety were handled, and more than 1,400 kilograms of counterfeit and inferior drugs and smuggled drugs were supervised and handled.
