The Sultanate of Oman extends the suspension of entry to those coming from 14 countries

The Supreme Committee in charge of examining the mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Sultanate of Oman has decided to extend the suspension of entry into the country until further notice for those coming from 14 countries, namely: Sudan, Lebanon, South Africa, Brazil, Nigeria, and Tanzania. , Ghana, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, and those coming from any other country if they had passed through any of these countries during the 14 days preceding the request to enter the Sultanate.

The committee also decided, in a statement published on the Oman News Agency, to add those coming from Egypt, the Philippines, and those coming from any other country if they had passed through any of the two countries during the 14 days preceding the request to enter the Sultanate to the list of countries that previously decided to suspend entry to those coming from it to the Sultanate. Starting on Friday 7 May 2021 AD until further notice.

The committee excluded Omani citizens, diplomats, health workers and their families, and the excluded groups will be subject to the procedures adopted upon entering the territory of the Sultanate of Oman.
