According to the bill, owners of private cars and motorcycles will have to undergo an inspection only when registering and only if the car is older than four years, including the year of manufacture.

In all other cases, technical inspection as a mandatory procedure is canceled.

Earlier, the partner of the analytical agency "Autostat", auto expert Igor Morzharetto, in an interview with RT, commented on the bill on the abolition of mandatory technical inspection, taking into account the revision.

The Russian Cabinet of Ministers gave a positive response to the bill submitted to the State Duma by parliamentarians from "United Russia" on the abolition of mandatory technical inspection for car owners, taking into account a slight revision.
