In 2015, after working outside for a long time and separated from her family, she returned to her hometown and transformed her beautiful small building after the Wenchuan earthquake into a cafe, with an annual income of more than 100,000 yuan.

Then after the expansion of the road, it was slowly built, including the front yard of our own, which was beautifully built. It is not like the kind of countryside before. Now (tourists) come in and feel that we are living a very comfortable life now.

  [Explanation] Like He Tingting, Guan Yong, a "post-80s" villager who had been traveling for many years, also returned to his hometown to start a business in 2018 and became a cafe owner.

Guan Yong introduced that he used to work in other places, and he always cared about his hometown in his heart. Now the development prospects of the countryside are getting wider and wider. He can not only accompany his family, but also develop his own business.

  Through the investment in this coffee (shop) over the past few years, the economy is still growing steadily year by year. The biggest advantage is that people are not only in the village, but also take care of their family members and children. This is the biggest gain. .

According to Chen Bo, Party Secretary of Gaohuai Village, the village was lifted out of poverty in 2016, and the per capita income of the village has increased to 26,500 yuan in 2021.

Taking Sichuan as an example, as early as 2018, the local government issued the Twenty-two Measures for Promoting Returning to the Countryside and Starting a Business , college students, etc. returned to the countryside to start their own businesses to develop in depth.

According to data provided by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, a total of 18,000 people lifted out of poverty in 2021 have successfully started businesses.

Attracted by the development opportunities of the vast countryside, Liu Shenting resigned from his stable job in 2017 and began to return to his hometown to start a business.

At present, he runs two family farms with a land scale of about 220 mu and an annual income of about 2 million yuan.

  In the past 5 years, he has continued to settle down and cultivated agriculture. Not only has he grown from an initial "layman" to an intermediate agricultural technician, he has also instructed or invented 3 agriculture-related national patents successively.

Among them, his self-created simple drip irrigation system has been applied on more than 5,000 acres of land in Sichuan; he also initiated the establishment of the Pengshan Fruit Industry Chamber of Commerce, which has served more than 800 members through the establishment of the Pengshan digital agricultural service platform.
