The Russians told how much they are ready to spend on New Year's travel

So, 19% of the respondents said that they spend from 50 to 60 thousand rubles on travel on New Year's holidays.

Another 14.5% are willing to pay for a trip on winter holidays from 30 to 50 thousand rubles, and the same number of respondents - from 100 to 150 thousand rubles.

12.4% of the respondents were in favor of more budgetary trips - from 20 to 30 thousand rubles.

In addition, 10.5% of respondents are ready to give more than 200 thousand rubles, and 9.1% fit into 20 thousand rubles (of which 3.7% spend even less than 10 thousand).

), and yes, I agree that the most popular, if we are talking about big cities, is around 50 thousand. Still, 20-30, and maybe less, also makes sense if these are very short-term trips of some kind, not in the New Year itself, "said Olga Sanaeva, Vice President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RST).

At the same time, she noted that the demand for high-budget travel is also relevant.

“This demand will increase as ... the New Year approaches, because this year the purchase of vouchers is going very close to the departure date,” Sanaeva said.

The survey involved 2.7 thousand respondents.

Previously, analysts from the travel planning service OneTwoTrip found out which cities Russians plan to travel to to celebrate the New Year.

The top five included Sochi, Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
