Our daily life will change from Monday next week, when November begins. Hours of operation for restaurants and cafes will be removed and up to 10 people will be able to gather in one place. The government has decided to take three steps towards a normal life before Corona, and the first step will start next week.

Today's (25th) announcement was first organized by Choi Ho-won.

The keyword for the first reorganization, which will begin on the 1st of next month, is 'relaxation of operating restrictions on livelihood facilities'.

In addition to restaurants and cafes, most facilities such as private academies, PC rooms, singing practice rooms, movie theaters, and indoor sports facilities are open 24 hours a day.

Entertainment facilities, colatechs, dance studios, etc. are open until midnight.

Private gatherings can also accommodate up to 10 people, whether or not vaccinated.

However, only in restaurants and cafes, a plan to limit the number of unvaccinated to 2-3 people is under review.

This means that it is stricter than the current four.

In movie theaters, only those who have completed the vaccination can enjoy popcorn and drinks without having to sit apart.

Sports events can be watched by 50% of the capacity regardless of whether or not they are vaccinated.

[Sohn Young-rae / Head of Social Strategy Team, Central Accident Remediation Headquarters: We are reviewing to implement the next transition at intervals of 6 weeks and 2 weeks for evaluation after 4 weeks of system conversion operation.] The

first reorganization is 6 weeks long

.

After being applied, if the inoculation completion rate exceeds 80% and the bed capacity is over 40%, the second reorganization will begin.

During the second reorganization, all large-scale events are allowed.

At the earliest, the limit of the number of private gatherings will be lifted during the last 3rd reorganization in January next year.

In the step-by-step recovery process, the death rate and seriousness are the main indicators, but we plan to disclose the number of new confirmed cases every day so that we can know the situation of the surge in confirmed cases.

The government will announce the final draft on the 29th after collecting various opinions at a public hearing today.
