On August 1, the Public Security Bureau of Golmud City, Qinghai Province issued a notice stating that the remains of a female college student missing in Qinghai were found and homicide was preliminarily ruled out. Starting from July 25th, the Blue Sky Emergency Rescue Center of Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province has cooperated with more than 100 people including the Golmud City Public Security Bureau, Golmud Criminal Police, civilian police, special police, and forest police to carry out four consecutive days in the uninhabited area of Hoh Xil hinterland. Search over an area of more than 1,000 square kilometers, using drones, search and rescue dogs, and radio communication satellite technology to carry out carpet searches without letting go of any clues.
