May 15 2020 Pianist and conductor Ezio Bosso died in Bologna. He was 48 years old. Bosso was born in Turin on September 13, 1971 and had approached music at the age of 4. In 2011 he had had brain surgery to remove a tumor and was also affected by an autoimmune syndrome. Despite his illnesses, he continued to play, compose and direct. Subsequently, in September 2019 the worsening of a neurodegenerative disease forced Bosso to interrupt his pianist activity, having compromised the use of his hands.
