201 of the Criminal Code (abuse of authority in a commercial organization, resulting in grave consequences).
The court also brought charges against General Director of SDS-Ugol Gennady Alekseev, technical director of the company Anton Yakutov and chief engineer of LLC Mine Listvyazhnaya Anatoly Lobanov for violation of industrial safety requirements.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting on the coal industry, criticized the board of directors of SDS-Ugol for non-compliance with safety conditions at the Listvyazhnaya mine in the Kemerovo region.
He noted that, according to the investigation, the reason for the tragedy at the Listvyazhnaya mine in the Kemerovo Region was the lack of control by the mine management over the work carried out with increased gas pollution.
On November 25, an accident occurred at the Listvyazhnaya mine in Kuzbass, as a result of which 51 people died and dozens were injured.
