The outgoing president of the Center-Val de Loire region François Bonneau (PS), won the second round of the regional elections this Sunday.
Arrived this Sunday at the head of the first round of the regional elections (24.81%), he announced the merger of his PS-PCF list with that EELV-LFI carried by Charles Fournier (10.85%).

During the first round, Nicolas Forissier (LR) had collected 18.82% of the vote, behind the candidate RN Aleksandar Nikolic (22.24%), but in front of the candidate of the presidential majority, the Minister of Relations with Parliament Marc Fesneau (16.65%).
