This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Due to the tense and unpredictable situation in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is changing travel recommendations.
A recommendation is being introduced that applies to the entire country.
All travel that is not strictly necessary is not recommended.
Earlier it was reported that the Japanese Foreign Ministry recommends its citizens to refrain from traveling to Ukraine due to "tension on the Russian-Ukrainian border."
