The NBA reveals its 76th list of legends to mark the 75th anniversary of its founding

Yesterday, the NBA revealed, on the occasion of its 75th anniversary, a list of 76 legends, including Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell and Kobe Bryant.

The selection of this list is part of the various celebrations held by the association on the eve of its seventy-fifth season.

The players were selected by a committee of current and retired league players, coaches, members of the technical staff, women's league players and journalists.

And 76 players were selected, not 75, and the association did not reveal the names of the players who tied for the last place.

The list included the equivalent of 158 league titles, 730 selections for the All-Star Game, 110 awards for the best player and more than 1.5 million points scored.

And compared to the list that was revealed in 1996 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the association and included 50 legends, big names that have starred in the orange ball competitions over the past 25 years, such as the late Kobe Bryant and current stars such as LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, have been added, three out of eleven. Players on the list are still active.

France's Tony Parker, Argentine Emmanuel Ginobili and Spain's Pau Gasol were absent from the list.
